During winters here you need something to do. It does not include driving a Ferrari due to the salt on roads but you can work on it 
As with the filler hose area, the headlight lifter area was covered with red and black over-spray. Having decided to get back to original, almost 2 weeks elapsed time and effort with lacquer thinner, brass brushes, WD40 and banged up fingers resulted in all the errant goop being removed. I also removed the second set of air horns that were part of a car alarm. Never know when you need a spare horn compressor.
