As part of learning about the car and also to be proactive I opened up the door panels. While the windows go up and down at a reasonable (for Ferrari) rate, I hoped to improve it somewhat. Besides the pulleys having been overgreased all was fine.
The door courtesy lights are not in great shape, I eventually (in 2008) bought new ones from Pelican Parts. I used 911-632-102-00-70A-M44, the only difference is that the surround is black, not chrome. That can be fixed by removing the rivets holding the plastic lens to the frame and chroming the frame. New rivets should be availalbe from craft or leather stores.
